The Georgian House, Wareham ...

Every so often, when we're walking down West Street, we call in at the Georgian House - 

The courtly couple inside will show us their latest acquisitions - 

We'll walk on beautiful faded Persian carpets, gaze into antique mirrors, admire dark pews - a barometer, removed from some dark hall, will warn us of stormy weather - a Victorian child's toy yacht will wait for a gentle breeze - 

We need to buy two mirrors - I have a desire for a mirror of cloudy glass - 

Anne wants a mirror of bright glass - 

I turn to look at a stilled carriage clock - a ray of sunlight falls upon a Jacobite drinking glass -
