The twilight garden was a hidden kingdom -
Blackbirds sang in pollarded trees -
Tall shrubs screened the gentle lawn -
A dragonfly circled the emerald pool -
A chimenia was full of fragrant ash -
Terracotta pots brimmed with flowers -
Seabirds flew overhead -
In the greenhouse there was a fine crop of Ferring Gold -
