A young man with dark eyes fell in love -
We flew above rooftops whilst comets lit up the sky -
For an hour or so we tasted the sweetness of a vanished world -
Our souls were ravished by its melancholy -
We heard outside the wind which would blow away whole cities -
We danced with those who rose heavenwards as smoke -
