I heard once again the music of that poignant summer - 

Invisible bandsmen played their instruments -

Gloved hands held parasols - 

The poet would walk here - 

Gaze at the young god above the fountain - 

Scorn the men with hard eyes in the white hotels -

The Italian Gardens
