Awakening ...

The bright sea washes away the dark -

Our apple tree is joyous with blossom -

The long night had stilled my tongue - 

No words came to me -

This was my awakening -

Birds singing in the garden -

The ship waiting in the bay -

Finding a pen once more in my hand -
