Reivers ...



Reivers once caroused in these quiet streets -

The Armstrongs, the Stapletons of Tynedale, the Jardines of Applegirth - 


Their steel bonnets ringed peel towers - 

Their brazen voices still echoed in these yards -

Their spurs still marked the stone -
