I thought of Samuel Palmer ...



Once more, I thought of Samuel Palmer - 

Golden light was falling on the water meadows - 

The sun was low in the shining sky - 

I felt my watch slip off my wrist - 

I saw angels standing on the branches of the Autumn trees -
