Climb these dimly lit stairs ?
Hear a dog barking in a hopeless lounge ?
He might shoot his cuffs -
Sing God Save the Queen at an Armistice Parade -
Offer tea to yoga ladies -
Yet the pinched streets would still be there -
The door would open on the hopeless lounge -
