At the Tate Modern sixth floor cafe bar ...




I'm just about to gulp a glass of Fuller's London Pride - I can see, through the floor to ceiling glass window, the floodlit shape of St Pauls, flawless and iconic, across the dark river - 

Two Russian girls are sitting next to me with their wafer thin tablets - 

On the train, we sat next to a family of blonde marmots, one of whom was called Finian - 

We saw a gang of Albanians, playing wild shetl jazz on the slender Thames beach at Blackfriars -

We're due to meet Sophie later at the Battersea Arts Centre, for a performance of Dads Dancing

Jay counselled caution - we'll see -
